Volcanoes Park & Black Sand Beach Tour

Service Description

Departure from the Hilton at appoximately 8:30am. Coffee, water and donuts with fruit for the drive south to Black Sand beach to view the turtles and breathe in the lovely ocean air, cliffs and the sparkly black sand. Light snack at the beach. Head to Volcanoes Natl. Park to explore the fascinating diversity of Kilauea Crater, Stop at Visitors Center, experience the Steam vents on the north rim and an easy walk to view the crater from the North Rim. Drive south on Old Crater trail, stop at Thurston Lava Tube to explore this natural phenomenon. Dinner in Volcano Village at Lava Rock Cafe. Drive back to Kona on Saddle Road . Return at approximately 7pm. Please bring comfortable walking shoes, dress casually and have layers. Bring beach attire for Black Sand Beach time. You can wear flip-flops in the morning and change into good walking shoes on the way to the Volcano. I have beach gear, you can bring a towel for the beach/sunscreen.

Cancellation Policy

For cancellations, there will be a 20% cancellation fee for cancellations requested up to 2 months prior to the beginning of your booking service start date. If your cancellation request is within 2 months of your service beginning date, the cancellation fee with be 25%. Cancellation requests should be made by emailing me through this website. You must provide your name, the date of your tour or service, and what method of payment that you used. Due to the limited spaces available for our private tours or services, there will be no refunds if requests are made within 2 weeks of your booked tour or service. If there are openings available, we will make every attempt to assist you to reschedule your tour or service, if you choose.
